I'm back!

Hello, all!

Whew! I can't believe that I haven't posted anything since August! 

It was intention to keep up with blogging, but I got bogged down in the fact that my blog is not as "perfect" as others. So I took a step back. I started praying about what the Lord would truly have me share. You see, I was trying to keep up with all the gorgeous blogs you see all over the internet that have gorgeous photos that are perfectly placed. That is not me--at all. I can barely even decorate my house, much less take perfect photos. And, heck, I have 4, very active boys that keep me on my toes. Plus, we are transitioning to our land to live (that's another blog post for the future!). 

So it's just been a lot. And I needed to get my heart right. I needed to get a "sign" for what I wanted to share. Because, let's face it, I was defeated and I thought for sure that there was no one on the planet that would ever want to read what I have to say. But then the Lord sent me words through an IG story that made me realize that I could keep going. Those words were, "Blogging isn't dead, y'all." (Leslie Burris if you ever read this, you rock!) At those words, I felt the Lord prick my heart. He said, "Jenn, just share." So here I am. Imperfections and all. 

And all you English majors and grammatical geniuses can just move right along as I write how I think and that's basically spaghetti, because the words flow faster than my fingers can type. In college, I tried harder and *can* write correctly, but I just ain't got time for that. (See what I did there? Bet it's driving you crazy, huh?) And, yes, I try to be slightly funny and don't know whether it's actually funny or just annoying. Hopefully, the former. 

So all of that to say--I'm back!! 

Let's see what the Lord is going to do in 2023!
